The “Melting pot” of Life Science

By now everyone might have come across various bioinformatics (BIT) terms on the internet. Hence, I don’t want to bore you with the similar definitions. In my point of view, I would define Bioinformatics simply as the “Melting pot of Life Science” as different biological domains “Join together” through a common application or tool to manage biological data.

Is a career in “Melting pot ” a BOON or BANE?

Personally, I have been enjoying working in Bioinformatics right from Bachelors to Post Doctorate. Throughout these years, I felt it worthwhile to work in Bioinformatics as I got to learn and work in interdisciplinary domains of knowledge. But there were also times I found difficulties for the exact same reason, especially while choosing projects in my bachelors.
